Mi laureo in Medicina Veterinaria presso l’Università degli studi di Parma nel 2006 e inizio la pratica clinica subito dopo la laurea, frequentando al contempo un Master di II livello in oncologia veterinaria presso l’Università degli studi di Pisa, che concludo nel 2008.
Dopo varie esperienze lavorative in Italia, mi trasferisco nel Regno Unito nel 2010, dove lavoro in diverse strutture ambulatoriali prima di iniziare un Internship di rotazione nel 2011 presso una struttura privata di referenza, dedicata principalmente all’oncologia e alla radioterapia.
Nel 2012 inizio un programma di Residency in oncologia, approvato dal College Europeo di Medicina Interna Veterinaria (ECVIM-CA Oncology), della durata di 3 anni, presso l’Università di Liverpool, UK. Durante il programma di Residency, svolgo una rotazione esterna di radio-oncologia presso l’Università di Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
Dal 2015 al 2017 lavoro presso una clinica privata in UK, dove sono co-responsabile della gestione del reparto di oncologia medica. Nel 2017, dopo aver sostenuto l’esame del College, conseguo il Diploma Europeo in Oncologia Veterinaria e qualche mese più tardi mi unisco al team del Centro Specialistico Veterinario, dove sono responsabile del servizio di oncologia medica dal 2017 al 2023.
Dal 2024 svolgo la mia attività specialistica presso l'ambulatorio Oncopets, di cui sono socio fondatore e direttore sanitario. Sono autrice e co-autrice di numerose pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali peer-reviewed e ho partecipato come relatrice a congressi internazionali con comunicazioni scientifiche, oltre che a seminari di oncologia.
La mia ricerca scientifica si concentra principalmente sulle più recenti opzioni terapeutiche, trattamento palliativo e qualità di vita del paziente oncologico
